Islamabad
In a reshuffle, the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has posted new area education officers (AEO) in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The CADD oversees the ICT’s government educational institutions totalling over 400 through the Federal Directorate of Education. Through a notification, the CADD cancelled the temporary posting of Islamabad Model College for Boys G-7/2 principal Tahromal as Nilore AEO, and appointed Sohail Khan, who was recently employed on contractual basis, his successor.
Tahromal will work as the G-7/2 college principal only. Likewise, Nazmeen Sohail, who was recently hired as a contractual employee, has been posted as the Sihala AEO, while her predecessor, Dr Shafqat Ali, who held the post on temporary basis, has been made AEO (Urban-II) on temporary basis in addition to own position as the Islamabad Model School for Boys, G-10/3 principal.
Saira Amjad, who was recently employed on contractual basis, has been made AEO (Urban-I), while Muhammad Riaz, the principal of Islamabad Model School for Boys, Chhatar, has been given the additional charge of the Bhara Kahu AEO. Islamabad city was recently divided into two regions for AEOs i.e. Urban-I and Urban-II. All AEOs have formally assumed the new offices and started discharging responsibilities.
