Shutdown in Rawalpora against excesses by Indian forces
ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyet Conference has termed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assertion to stop water flow into Pakistan ridiculous.
The APHC spokesman, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said such rude assertions were immoral and inhuman, the KMS reported on Sunday. He said natural resources were divine and no human could dare to claim control on them. Most of these water resources originated from the held valley. Indian rulers were escalating war hysteria with each passing day and these insane threats and high-pitched roars could neither change realities nor scare anybody.
The APHC spokesman said premiership was achieved by Narendra Modi by butchering minorities, especially Muslims, and he was using this pedestal to intimidate humanity once again using allegations of cross-border infiltration to satisfy the collective conscience of Indian people and most probably his next step would be to stop air entry for Pakistan. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown was observed in Rawalpora, Srinagar, against harassment of locals by Indian forces during night raids. The residents of Dar Mohalla and Tantary Mohalla of Rawalpora told the media Indian troops and policemen harassed them during nocturnal raids.
