Financial woes drive man to suicide

Owing to financial constraints, a father of three children took his own life by shooting himself at his house within Arambagh police limits on Sunday.

Waseem, 36, reportedly used his licensed pistol to kill himself. His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities. According to police authorities, the deceased took the extreme decision after having an argument with his wife pertaining to monetary issues.

Four dead in mishaps 

Four people including a young boy were killed in different incidents across city.

While going on a motorcycle, Sharjeel, 19 was killed along with an unknown 12-year-old child when a speeding water tanker rammed into them near Dadabhoy Building within Gizri police limits.

A pigeon racer, Mangat, 60, lost his life when he accidentally fell from the rooftop at his house in Manzoor Colony within Mehmoodabad police jurisdiction.

Parveena, 20, daughter of Saeed, passed away when she was accidentally electrocuted while ironing clothes at her residence in Machar Colony within Docks police area.
