Chinese troupe enthralls audience at PNCA

Chinese artistes gave a superb performance here last night at the National Council of the Arts (PNCA), celebrating 67th anniversary of the Founding Day of their country.
It was arranged in collaboration with Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. Artists from Hunan Art Ensemble and China and national performing art group displayed variety of programmes in traditional way that received thunderous applause from the audience in jam-packed Council’s hall.
By their performance, the Cultural Troupe showed solidarity with the people of Pakistan to further strengthen the bonds of Pak-China Friendship. The performance was also a message of goodwill for their Pakistani brothers and sisters on the occasion of their National Day.
The performance included Chinese songs, dance and artistic shows. The troupe thrilled the audience with their own popular melody sound of prosperity.
Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid, special assistant to PM Irfan Siddiqui and ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong were also present on the occasion, who spoke about the prevailing warmth, love and affection among the people of the two countries, hoping these sentiments will get deeper with a passage of time.
Senator Pervaiz Rashid appreciated the performance and said it reflected rich Chinese culture that is survived with its full bloom over the period time. Irfran Siddiqui highlighted the depth of Sino-Pak ties and said these have been growing on fast pace meeting the common aspirations of their people.
Ambassador Sun Weidong said on the occasion that the relationship between the two countries was reaching to new heights with substantive progress for the socio-economic uplift of their people, under the China-Pakistan economic corridor.
He hoped that that the two brotherly countries continue to make joint efforts to further promote China-Pakistan friendship, realize our common dreams, and achieve the goal of shared destiny.
