Aisam, Robert qualify for Winston-Salem Open semis

KARACHI: Pakistan’s tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Swedish partner Robert Lindstedt reached the semi-finals of Winston-Salem Open in USA on Friday.
Third seed duo of Aisam and Robert, ranked 47th and 31st, respectively, overpowered Marin Draganja of Croatia and Dominic Inglot of Great Britain 7-6(12), 6-7(4), 10-8 in the quarter-finals.
They will face wild card pair of Andre Begemann of Germany and Leander Paes of India in the semis.
They had beaten the wild card pair of Skander Mansouri of Tunisia and Christian Seraphim of Germany 3-6, 7-6(4), 10-6 in the first round of this ATP-250 event.
