Inquiry demanded
From Our Correspondent
JHANG: Punjab All Teachers Alliance central president Sufi Ramzan Inqalabi has demanded the Punjab chief minister, the chief secretary, the Faisalabad commissioner and the Jhang DCO order an inquiry against the Jhang Education EDO on the charges of transferring a large number of male and female teachers during a ban imposed by the government.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he alleged that several male and female teachers, especially posted in urban areas, were transferred from their schools under the cover of administrative grounds to adjust junior and some favourite teachers during ban imposed by the government.
When contacted, Educations EDO Nasim Ahmad Zahid denied the allegations. He claimed that he was running the affairs of the department honestly.
