Chinese popularity due to Communist Party leadership: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said the credit of the popularity gained by China in the world community goes to the leadership of Communist Party of China.

Leader of Communist Party of China and Minister, Zheng Xiaosong hosted a dinner in honour of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Beijing on Sunday. According to a handout issued here on Sunday, addressing on the occasion, the chief minister said the role of Communist Party of China in development of China was of historic importance.

Leaders of the Communist Party of China have proved from their act and character that if work is carried out with commitment, enthusiasm and continuity, then no hurdle can stop development process. He said the credit of the popularity gained by China in world community goes to the leadership of Communist Party of China. Shahbaz said the secret of development of China lies in continuity of its policies. He said China has achieved unprecedented success due to its determined leadership during previous decades. He said the Chinese leadership has expressed full confidence in the present leadership of Pakistan headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

In this regard, the great gift of China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a full confidence of Chinese leadership in present leadership of Pakistan and open proof to expression of love with the people of Pakistan which cannot be forgotten by the Pakistani nation, he added.

The chief minister said political parties of Pakistan can learn a lot from the Communist Party of China, as under the talented leadership of Communist Party of China, China has achieved the goals of unprecedented progress speedily.

He said relations are being promoted between the PML-N and the Communist Party of China and due to increasing relations between the two parties; the people of Pakistan and China are coming closer. He said these relations are expanding due to exchange of delegations at the party level.

He said China is a sincere and trusted friend of Pakistan and the people and government of Pakistan are proud of their unflinching friendship with China. He said the friendship between the two countries is connected in the bonds of mutual respect.

Zheng Xiaosong welcomed Shahbaz and members of his entourage on arrival in Beijing and said that China attaches importance to its relations with Pakistan. He said the vision of public service of Shahbaz Sharif was liked in China. He said the role of Shahbaz is commendable in promoting  ties between China and Pakistan. Other members of the delegation of Shahbaz were also present at the dinner.
