LAHORE
The Lahore High Court Friday dismissed bail petitions of three prime suspects of Kasur child abuse scandal and directed an anti-terrorism court to conclude trial of the case without delay.
Suspects Saleem Akhter Sherazi, Attiqur Rehman and Tanzeelur Rehman pleaded in their bail petitions that police failed to prove charges against them. They sought bail saying the trial of the case was yet to be completed. A division bench; however, denied bails to the suspects and directed the trial court to decide the case without delay. Ganda Singhwala police of Kasur had registered cases against the suspects and others on charges of assaulting children.
