PESHAWAR: A new Police Facilitation Centre established in Hayatabad was inaugurated on Monday.Capital City Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan inaugurated the centre, equipped with modern facilities.It has various facilities and service sections including police clearance certificate, character certificate, foreign registration, employee verification, domestic verification, driving license, tenant and employee registration, traffic information, police clearance for abroad, services like missing and theft reports, admission in police welfare, tender information, police recruitment, victim support and legal advice.
After the inauguration ceremony, CCPO Qasim Ali Khan reviewed the facilities provided to the public, took a briefing from the staff and issued necessary instructions for improvement.He said that keeping in mind the increasing number of visitors to the first facility established in the East Police Station, a second police facility centre had been established in Hayatabad.
With its establishment, all services and facilities will be provided under one roof to the people of Hayatabad, Pishtkhara, Ring Road, Board, Nasir Bagh, and adjacent areas, eliminating the need for time-consuming travel.
He said such centers would be established in other areas of Peshawar for the convenience of the people so that police services were available to the citizens at the nearby locations.
