Stars edge Challengers in semi-final

KARACHI: Stars defeated Challengers by 6 runs in the qualifier of the National Women’s T20 Tournament at the National Bank Stadium.

Stars will face Conquerors in the final on Saturday (tomorrow).

Stars batted first and scored 134 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Tooba Hasan scored 35, Huraina Sajjad made 34, and Sidra Nawaz contributed 33 runs.

Ramin Shamim took 3 wickets for 14 runs.

In reply, Challengers managed 128 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Yusra Amir was the top scorer with 45 runs. Natalia Parvaiz scored 28 and Sadaf Shams added 27 runs.

The last six wickets fell for just 25 runs.

Fatima Zahra took 3 wickets for 15 runs.

She was named Player of the Match.
