LAHORE:The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has once again secured a place among the world’s top 1,000 medical universities in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, marking its third consecutive inclusion.
UHS, the first medical university in Punjab to enter these global rankings in 2022, is currently positioned between 701 and 850 globally.
UVAS secures significant position in QS ranking
The QS recently announced World University Rankings by Subject 2025 and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has secured a significant position in the subject of Veterinary Sciences and stands among 51-100 best universities of the world in the subject rankings.
Meanwhile, the QS World Universities Rankings has also ranked 19 subjects of Punjab University among top institutions of the world in different categories. According to a press release, in the latest 2025 QS subject-wise rankings, Petroleum Engineering and Library & Information Management have been ranked in the range of 51-100 best institutions in the world separately.
It is pertinent to mention here that PU is the only university in Pakistan which has been ranked in 19 subjects in QS 2025 Subject ranking. Similarly, in its subject-based global ranking UET has been ranked 201-250 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
