PESHAWAR: The Islamic Lawyers Movement, District Peshawar, has nominated candidates for the upcoming elections of the PHC Bar Association and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council.
The announcement was made at a meeting chaired by Islamic Lawyers Movement District Peshawar President Ziarat Khan Mohmand. The meeting made decisions related to the upcoming elections for the two legal bodies. The meeting formed an election committee comprising Arbab Muhammad Usman, Syed Asif Ali Shah, Faqirullah Awan and Farooq Malik.
The meeting also finalized the names of the candidates for the elections. The candidates for the PHCBA election included Arbab Muhammad Usman Khan for president, Ghaniur Rehman for vice president, Sufyan Malik for general secretary, Afrasiab Yousafzai for joint secretary and Matiullah for finance secretary. The candidates for the KP Bar Council election included Ziarat Khan Mohmand for president, Lal Gul Safi for vice president, Jamshed Khan Afridi for general secretary, Shams-ul-Azhar for finance secretary, Shakoor for library secretary.
