Munro, Kohler-Cadmore registered for PSL-10 draft
LAHORE: The much-anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL-10) has added two high-profile international stars to its roster.
Former New Zealand cricketer Colin Munro and England’s hard-hitting batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore have officially been registered for the player draft, the PSL management announced on Saturday.
The PSL celebrated Munro’s inclusion by sharing a compilation video showcasing his dynamic performances during previous PSL seasons. The left-handed batter made his debut in the league in 2018, representing Karachi Kings, and subsequently became a pivotal player for Islamabad United, the three-time tournament champions.
Munro’s PSL career boasts impressive statistics, having played 47 matches and scored 1,417 runs at an average of 32.95 and a strike rate of 150.58, including 12 half-centuries.
In the 2024 edition, Munro was in scintillating form, amassing 326 runs in 10 matches for Islamabad United, including three half-centuries. His contributions were crucial in Islamabad’s triumphant campaign, where they defeated Multan Sultans to clinch the title.
The 37-year-old is the 13th foreign player to sign up for PSL 10, joining a stellar list of international cricketers.
England’s explosive batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore is another exciting addition to the PSL 10 roster. The league announced his registration with a video celebrating his past performances, captioning it: “England’s dynamic hitter Tom Kohler-Cadmore enters the HBL PSL Draft.”
The 29-year-old has played in five PSL editions, representing Quetta Gladiators in 2018 and becoming a regular for Peshawar Zalmi in 2021.
He joins compatriots Tom Curran, David Willey, Dawid Malan and Jason Roy, alongside stars like Daryl Mitchell, Alex Carey, Shakib Al Hasan, and Rilee Rossouw. The PSL-10 players’ draft is scheduled to take place on January 11 in Gwadar, Balochistan.
