Zero degree temp in Islamabad for fifth day straight
Islamabad : With no let-up in the persistent cold wave, Islamabad has recorded the minimum temperature at zero degree Centigrade or below for the fifth consecutive day.
According to the Met Office, it is expected to be mainly cold and dry in most parts of the country, including Islamabad and adjoining Rawalpindi, in the next few days, with the weather being very cold and partly cloudy in hilly areas. It also said cloudy weather with light rain (snowfall over mountains) is expected in north-western Balochistan during night. Light fog is likely to engulf a few places in central and southern Punjab during night-time, according to it. The doctors advised them to take precautionary measures against intense cold and step out only after covering themselves properly to stay healthy.
