Bushra’s spokesperson sacked as CM’s aide, again
It is second time Mashal, spokesman for Bushra Bibi has been removed from cabinet
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday de-notified Mashal Azam Yousfazai as special assistant to the chief minister.
A letter from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to the secretary of the KP Administration Department said the KP chief minister had directed that Miss Mashal Azam, special assistant, may immediately be de-notified.
It was the second time Mashal, the spokesman for Bushra Bibi, was removed from the cabinet.
She was de-notified in September, this year. But was named again the special assistant, reportedly on the directives of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan, interned at Adiala Jail.
Mashal had given an interview on Geo News programme ‘Naya Pakistan’ on Friday wherein she had said that Bushra Bibi decided to reach D-Chowk with the PTI protesters in Islamabad as was asked by Imran Khan.
Speaking on the show about the events surrounding the recent protest called by PTI, she had spoken about Bushra Bibi’s participation in the protest and subsequent return to KP.
Asked if Bushra Bibi was taken by force from the protest site, Mashal had said that she didn’t want to go from there.
