Bandits snatched 2,000 Pounds, 300 Emirati Dirhams, Rs37,000, gold ornaments, three expensive mobile phones

LALAMUSA: A family returned from UK was deprived of cash and valuables near Dhama Railway Crossing on Tuesday.
Reportedly, Naveed Khan, a resident of Karnana, who had just returned from UK, was on his way along with his sister-in-law and niece to their native village Karnana from Lahore Airport when their car intercepted by some armed men.
The bandits snatched 2,000 Pounds, 300 Emirati Dirhams, 37,000 Pak rupees, gold ornaments, three expensive mobile phones and a UK passport from the family members. City police have registered a case.
