Dr Azhar Masood elected PMA publications CE
LAHORE:Prof Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti has been unanimously elected as Chairman/Chief Editor of the publications of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Punjab, for two years. The provincial council and general body of the PMA Punjab unanimously took this decision.
Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti has been serving as Chief Editor of monthly research journal, ‘Medical Forum’ for the last 35 years. He has also written several books on children's diseases, which had been taught in the mid-level managers' training programmes. He has also served a member of the team that launched Medical Editors' Course/Certificate at the University of Health Sciences (UHS). He has also written 50 research papers. He has also been writing columns on medical education and public health in various English and Urdu newspapers. Dr Azhar has also served as member of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE).
