Na’at contest winners rewarded
LAHORE:The top position holders of recently held Na’at competition were awarded cheques by DG Youth Affairs Punjab Pervez Iqbal at a prize distribution ceremony. It may be noted here that the Na’at competition was organised under the auspices of Youth Affairs Department Punjab at E-Library and Youth Centre on the eve of 12th Rabi-ul Awwal.
In age group category ‘A’ (15 to 21 years), the first position holder M Annas was awarded a cash prize of Rs15,000 while Rs12,000 and Rs10,000 cash prizes were given to Syeda Fareen Bokhari and Hamid Yaseen for taking 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In age group category ‘B’ (22 to 29 years), the top three positions were shared by Maryam Siddique, Ahmed Hafi and Abdul Qadeer and they were awarded cheques of Rs15,000, Rs12,000 and Rs10,000 respectively.
