NA body on education visits ICT schools, colleges
Islamabad: The Subcommittee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training on Friday announced that its members would visit public sector schools and colleges in both rural and urban areas of the Islamabad Capital Territory soon.
According to convener of the sub-committee and MNA Prof Engr Abdul Aleem Khanzada, the visit is meant to assess the challenges in the education sector, appreciate the achievements of the education ministry, and suggest measures to address issues.
"We aim to ensure quality education with equity, and the planned visit is a crucial step in identifying areas that require attention," he said. The MNA said during the visit, the sub-committee members would engage with educators, students, and stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the education landscape in ICT.
