Rejected visas

Many, if not most, UK visa applications from Pakistan are rejected, as per various reports. Some readers may recall that in the 1990s, Karachi-based UK visa applicants were issued visas on the same day by British High Commission offices in Karachi. Now, the application processing function has been shifted abroad.

In view of the foregoing, and to improve the ties between Pakistan and the UK I would request the British authorities and the Pakistan foreign minister to look into the matter seriously and review the decision to send the processing of Pakistani visa applications outside of Pakistan.
