FDE teachers to elect representatives on May 30

The teachers of Islamabad Capital Territory’s government educational institutions are set to elect new members of their representative body for the term 2016-18.
According to a Federal Directorate of Education notification, the elections will take place on May 30.
The contesting panels can file nomination papers by today (May 17), while the date fixed for filing of objection, scrutiny of nomination papers and withdrawal of nomination papers is May 19.
The names of panels allowed to contest the elections will be displayed on May 20. May 30 will be the polling day.
An election committee has been formed to supervise the electoral exercise.
It is headed by IMSB, G-9/1 principal Abdul Jalal and has IMSG, I-8/1 principal Farzana Ashraf Gondal; IMCB, G-6/2, principal Akhtar Hussain Shah; IMSB, G-9/1 principal Javed Iqbal Rana; Area Education Officer (urban) Farida Yasmeen; AEO (Sihala) Riaz Ali; AEO (Bhara Kaho) Abdul Waheed; AEO (Nilore) Ghulam Mustafa Qureshi; AEO (Tarnol) Sadia Adnan and IMSB, Saidpur principal Riaz Upal principal as members. Riaz Upal will also act as the committee’s secretary.
