LAHORE: Following Pakistan’s disappointing group stage exit in the 2024 T20 World Cup, captain Babar Azam has joined the Vancouver Knights in Canada’s Global T20 League.
This marks his first foray into North American franchise cricket. The league season starts on July 25 and concludes on August 11.
Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Rizwan are also in the team.
This move allows Babar Azam to stay active in cricket and potentially regain form ahead of future Pakistan matches. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the upcoming Global T20 League season.
