LAHORE: The second One-Day International (ODI) between Pakistan Women and England Women at Taunton was abandoned due to persistent rain after only 6.5 overs were bowled. This leaves the series score at 1-0 in England’s favor after their victory in the first ODI.
Pakistan captain Nida Dar won the toss and opted to bat first. Openers Sadaf Shamas (18 not out) and Sidra Amin (7 not out) had built a cautious 29-run partnership before the rain intervened. England’s Lauren Filer, playing her first ODI of the series, conceded 18 runs in her three overs.
