Islamabad: In a visionary move, Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani, the Federal Secretary of Education, is spearheading a comprehensive transformation to strengthen the educational landscape across the nation. Going beyond mere infrastructural upgrades, which include modernising school facilities with state-of-the-art IT labs, Makerspaces, libraries, and sports amenities, Wani is prioritizing the empowerment of teachers and principals.

Under his leadership, teachers are benefitting from multifaceted training across three venues, covering crucial areas such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), Entrepreneurship, and Character Education. These training programs, facilitated by the Rupani Foundation and LearObots, mark a significant shift towards a more holistic approach to education.

What sets Wani's approach apart is his proactive stance, as he personally visits training venues to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the programs. This hands-on approach underscores his unwavering commitment to improving educational standards nationwide. One notable aspect of Wani's reforms is the upcoming training sessions for principals on Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules. This signifies a holistic approach to educational advancement, ensuring that school leaders are equipped not only with pedagogical skills but also with essential administrative knowledge.
