ISLAMABAD: An oil tanker Friday evening caught fire at a filling station on the Jinnah Avenue.
Local police and the district administration reached the scene and evacuated the staff. The firefighting units of the Capital Development Authority, (CDA), Rawalpindi and other adjacent towns joined the efforts to overcome the leaping flames.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon said the firefighters had reached the spot and were struggling to put out the fire.
