Car used in Balaj’s murder seized

LAHORE: Police Tuesday seized the vehicle used in the murder of Amir Balaj Tipu. According to sources, the vehicle used in the murder was seized by a joint investigation team. The vehicle was traced through CCTV cameras. Police sources said the shooters came to the crime scene by the same vehicle. Muzaffar Hussain and his accomplice Haroon reached the venue in the same vehicle. Shooter Haroon got the car on a rent. The police officials said the investigation is ongoing from all aspects of the incident. A complete challan of the accused will be prepared and sent to a court.

Woman, her son found dead in house

A 55-year-old woman and her 33-year-old son were found dead in a house in Shadiwal village, Sattukatla, on Tuesday. The victims were identified as Farzana and her son Nadar. The police said that the woman and her son had apparently died of excessive use of drugs. The bodies were shifted to the mortuary.

PO arrested

The Punjab police arrested a proclaimed offender who was extradited from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. The accused identified as Shahid, who was involved in robberies, was wanted by Sadar Police district Rajanpur since 2022. This year, the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from abroad has reached 15.
