11 die in road accidents in 24 hours

LAHORE:The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,082 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
In these accidents, 11 people died, whereas 1,124 were injured. Out of these, 493 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 631 victims with minor injuries were treated on the spot by Rescue medical teams.
Six robbers arrested; loot seized
A six-member gang of robbers was arrested by the police with the help of PSCA footage. The accused had recently deprived a citizen of Rs1.5 million in the limits of Gulberg police. The police recovered the looted money and handed it over to the citizen.
