Sarwar announces support for Bilawal in NA-127
LAHORE: Former governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Tuesday called on PPPP head Asif Ali Zardari and discussed in detail the current political situation.
Sarwar on the occasion also announced supporting Bilawal Bhutto from NA-127 and becoming the part of his election campaign. Moreover, the Election Management Committee comprising leaders like Sharjeel Memon and Mukesh Chawla held meeting with PPP candidates and discussed strategy to counter PMLN’s alleged rigging plan.
Besides, PPP leaders, including Shehla Raza, Chaudhry Aslam Gill, and Zulfikar Ali Badr addressed a press conference after a meeting with PPP Lahore ticket holders. Shehla Raza on the occasion emphasized the significance of the upcoming February 8 elections in Punjab, questioning whether the people of Punjab would choose power or ideology this time.
Shehla Raza invited people to Minhaj-ul-Quran Park on January 21, stressing the choice between power and ideology. Chaudhry Aslam Gill announced Bilawal Bhutto’s rally on January 21 in Lahore, drawing parallels with historical rallies. Asif Zardari would inaugurate the main election office of NA 127 today.
