The surge in AI-driven technologies has ushered in new possibilities, even in the political realm. This was demonstrated via an AI-generated speech delivered by Imran Khan last month during a virtual jalsa of the PTI, underscoring the formidable power wielded by this technology. 

While AI tools hold potential for individual advancement, ensuring their responsible use in electoral processes necessitates concerted efforts. To fortify democratic engagement and prevent AI from becoming a tool wielded against the people, the authorities and tech companies must collaboratively develop a comprehensive strategy. This strategy should prioritize the enhancement of digital literacy and the implementation of stringent policies to curb misuse.
