PESHAWAR: An annual prize distribution ceremony took place at Frontier Corps Public School (FCPS) in Wana, the headquarters of Lower South Waziristan district.
Major Zeeshan, the chief guest, and the principal Maheed Khan Afridi distributed prizes to students who excelled in examinations. The event, attended by parents and people from various walks of life, was organised by the school administration.
The principal, while highlighting the institution’s history, stated that FCPS Wana had been the sole educational institution in Lower South Waziristan since 1958, providing educational services for the past 65 years.
“Thousands of students in the Waziristan region have benefited from this institution, offering quality education to both male and female students,” Maheed said.
He said that the school had hundreds of students currently enrolled, and expressed a commitment to improving the institution for the bright future of Waziristan.
He said that FCPS Wana students consistently achieved prominent positions in various national educational institutions.
