Empowering women through IT workshop by JI Women's Wing

Islamabad: Under the auspices of the Women's Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami in Islamabad, a comprehensive IT workshop was organized at Al-Falah Hall, aiming to equip individuals with the necessary skills to effectively navigate the diverse platforms of social media in the current era.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, conducted by IT Incharge Khansa Mahmood, who fulfilled her responsibilities with utmost dedication. The first session was led by Dr. Rahila Aram, IT Incharge of Northern Punjab, focusing on media coverage guidelines and enlightening participants on the significance of utilizing social media in impactful ways.

Shafa Humaa, Deputy Central IT Team, shed light on the importance of Twitter and its effective use. Qudsiyah Madthar, Central IT Member, and Deputy Incharge of Northern Punjab, imparted an intriguing session on graphic designing, capturing the keen interest of the attendees who displayed remarkable enthusiasm.

Following breaks for meals and prayers, Sharmeen Qayyum, Deputy IT Islamabad, provided guidance on video editing. The district organizer of Islamabad, Nasrat Nahid, concluded the workshop with a closing address. Subsequently, Zabeeda Khatoon, a central advisory council member, offered prayers, with a special focus on supplications for the Muslim community in Palestine.

The workshop proved to be a success, fostering skills and knowledge crucial for effective engagement in the realm of social media. The participants' keen interest and active involvement showcased the significance of such initiatives in empowering individuals for the digital challenges of today.
