PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing into a petition which had called for removal of Imran Khan from the chairmanship of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The decision was made by a two-member PHC bench comprising Justice Abdul Shakoor and Justice Syed Irshad Ali.The writ petition had been filed by Awami National Party (ANP) KP chapter president, Aimal Wali Khan.
However, the bench was informed that the Qazi Muhammad Anwar, the counsel for Imran Khan, had called for adjournment and hence the case could not be heard. It may be mentioned here that the ANP leader has taken the plea in his petition that Imran Khan had allegedly hidden several facts while filing details of assets with his returns.
