Pakistan Journal of Urology launched
PESHAWAR: The Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD), Hayatabad Medical Complex (MTI-HMC) in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Urological Surgeons (PAUS) has started the publication of the Pakistan Journal of Urology (PJU).
The PJU is a biannual publication. Its editor-in-chief is urologist Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, while the team of editors, writers, and other staff comprises urologists from various parts of the country.
The journal covers most of the urological problems by researching and analyzing multiple topics of larger public interest.
The first issue includes five original articles, one review article, and two case reports.Editor-in-Chief of PJU, Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, said: “Pakistan Journal of Urology is a dream come true both for the IKD and PAUS.
“It is a good addition to the field of medical science in Pakistan that will prove helpful for budding urologists to understand complex urological issues.”
