SUKKUR: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was martyred and two police officers were injured in the line of duty when a police mobile overturned in Jacobabad.
Reports say that the police mobile, which was escorting Jacobabad Deputy Commissioner (DC), Muhammad Yousif Shaikh, overturned at the Jannat Shakh site. ASI Sanwal Khan Panhwar was martyred, while Constables Shan Muhammad and Nasir Ali sustained injuries. The cause of the overturning is believed to be excessive speed, as the police mobile was trying to provide foolproof security to the DC.
