Tom Cruise loses thousands of pounds worth of luggage in Birmingham
Thieves take away BMW of Tom Cruise's bodyguard
Tom Cruise reportedly lost thousands of pounds worth of luggage after thieves took away his bodyguard's £100,000 BMW.
The 59-year-old actor, who is currently filming 'Mission: Impossible 7' was "hopping mad" after learning about the theft.
There are reports that thieves used a scanner to connect to the car's keyless ignition fob as it was parked outside of Grand Hotel in Birmingham - close to where he was filming.
"Tom had been driven around in the car while in Birmingham and some of his luggage and belongings were inside it when it was taken," a source told The Sun.
It's since been recovered by police because it was equipped with an electronic tracking device but everything inside it had gone.
Tom's bodyguard, who is in charge of his security staff, noticed the BMW X7 had disappeared from its parking space on Wednesday. The incident supposedly happened just a two-minute walk from West Midlands Police's HQ.
