Shahid Kapoor reveals the first look of upcoming film ‘Kabir Singh’

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has shared the first look of his upcoming film ‘Kabir Singh’ unleashing a wave of excitement amongst fans and movie buffs.

The 38-year-old Jab We Met actor unveiled the poster on Instagram with a caption stating, “Find the #kabirsingh within you.”

The picture shows a silhouette of Shahid’s character, who is seen smoking two cigarettes, with a stethoscope hanging around his neck.

The teaser poster is sure to leave goosebumps down your spine as the story revolves around an alcoholic surgeon who goes into a self-destruction path after his ex-girlfriend marries another man.

Fans can’t wait to see the actor in a different avatar are counting down days till the teaser of the film will be releases online on Monday.

The film is the official remake of a Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy,’ starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey proved to be a surprise hit. ‘Kabir Singh’ directed by Sandeep Vanga, who also helmed the original film, is starring Kiara Advani opposite Shahid.

Later, in an interview with IANS, Shahid talked about his work in Kabir Singh saying: “I am having a great time, I think ‘Kabir Singh’ is very special and ‘Arjun Singh’ was amazing. As such it’s very stressful making the remake, especially when it has been loved so much.”

The film is slated to release on June 21, 2019.
