The 13th death anniversary of veteran Pakistani actor Muhammad Ali is being observed today on March 19 who passed on at the age of 74 in 2006 in Lahore.

The 13th death anniversary of veteran Pakistani actor Muhammad Ali is being observed today on March 19 who passed on at the age of 74 in 2006 in Lahore.
The Lollywood actor also popularly known as ‘Shahenshah-e- Jazbaat’ (the Emperor of Emotions), was born on 19 April, 1931 in Rampur belonged to a considerably religious family with his father being an Islamic scholar.
He had started his career from Radio Pakistan, Hyderabad in 1956 and grew to become a versatile actor working in over 250 films.
Some of his most famous works include, ‘Kaneez’, ‘Aag Ka Darya’, ‘Saiqa’ and many others where he essayed both negative and positive avatars.
The star had also secured a spot for himself in CNN’s 2010 survey of 25 greatest actors in Asia.
He also received 10 Nigar Awards and many other momentous awards in his film career for ‘Best Actor’ on both national and international levels which also includes India’s prestigious ‘Naushad’ award.
Moreover, the actor was also awarded with ‘Tamgha-E-Imtiaz’ by the government of Pakistan, the second highest civilian award in the country.
