MUMBAI: Famed Indian actor Alia Bhatt who is among one of the highest paid actresses in Indian film industry, gifted her long time driver Sunil and helper Anmol rupees 50 lac cheque to buy a house in Mumbai.
In an act of immense generosity, the 26-year-old actress on her birthday gave 50 lac cheque to her driver and her helper, who she said have been by her throughout, since the time of her first movie's release.
Alia added that both of them have been an important part of her journey and she can’t live without them.
On the work front, Alia's upcoming project is a period film ‘Kalank’ directed by Abhishek Verman and produced by Karan Johar.
The movie revolves around the pre-independence Indian elite class.
Starring Varun Dhawan, Aditiya Roy, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and other famous actors of Bollywood, Kalank will see the light of day on 19th April.
Later on, Alia will be seen sharing the screen with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in the movie ‘Brahmastra’ which’s releases in December, 2019.
