Vidya Balan elated to star in Sridevi's biopic

After the fiasco that unleashed with Priya Prakash Varrier’s film ‘Sridevi Bungalow’, the word has it that another biopic of the late veteran actor Sridevi is on the cards.

As per reports, the biopic honoring the life of the deceased Bollywood icon, is buckling up to rope in Vidya Balan to essay the character of the Chandni starlet and she seems to be excited to hop on board.

“I was brought up with a feeling that I was the most important person in my life, and I think that's what makes all the difference. When I was offered Ishqiya, I felt that there were very few scripts, which had such a juicy role for a woman. When I read it, I absolutely loved it. It would require a lot of guts, but as a tribute to Sridevi, I would do it.” Vidya stated in her talk show recently.

While additional details on the project remain unknown till now, fans are elated to see Vidya playing the Bollywood queen.
