Ali Zafar's pacifying response to Ranveer Singh

Aggression intensifying between India and Pakistan has led to numerous Bollywood bigwigs endorsing warfare. On the other hand, celebrities on this side of the border are raising their voices chanting for peace to prevail in these times of crisis.

Pakistan’s acclaimed artist Ali Zafar is presently being lauded by social media users for responding to Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s jingoistic tweet by maintaining a tranquilizing and mature stance, wishing for the best for the held Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan.

“And soon he will be with India and his family back home,” the Teefa in Trouble star stated to Ranveer saying: “Braveheart Wing Commander Abhinandan. India is with you.”

On the other hand, trolls from that side of the border took no time in taking a jibe at the Pakistani star for his pacifying tweets lauding Pakistani government while Indian actor Taapsee Pannu backed Zafar saying it would be absurd to expect him to support India and that stars from both sides should continue supporting their respective countries.
