Sania Mirza signs contract for her biopic
According to a report by The Hindu, Sania Mirza announced at an event that she has signed the contract for her biopic which will be helmed by Ronnie Screwvala while the primary stages of the filming process have already been initiated.
The buzz of Indian tennis champ Sania Mirza getting a biopic had been making rounds for quite a while but now the sports star has affirmed the good news for fans herself.
According to a report by The Hindu, the 32-year-old announced at an event that she has signed the contract for her biopic which will be helmed by Ronnie Screwvala while the primary stages of the filming process have already been initiated.
“It’s great. The talks have been going on for a while. The contract was signed. We are just looking forward to it,” stated the six-time Grand Slam winner.
Mirza goes on to state: “It’s all going to be mutual understanding. I think that obviously my input is important because it’s my story. So, I will have to help out.”
“We are literally in the very initial stages. So, we just announced it today. It will slowly get into the director, the writing and after that, the casting. It’s still a bit long way to go,” she added.
