MUMBAI: Rumours regarding Indian tennis star Sania Mirza's upcoming biopic had been doing rounds lately, suggesting that filmmaker Rohit Shetty is most likely to produce it.
Addressing this, Sania Mirza stated that nothing regarding the project has been officially confirmed so far.
“No, not yet… There’s obviously been a lot of talk going on and in pipeline. But there’s nothing official yet,” Sania said when asked about the film.
With this statement, interests about who will play Sania's character in the film has also piqued amongst her fans, if the movie is in works.
Sania Mirza, who is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, is expecting her first child, who will be named Mirza-Malik.
She had previously revealed that she will head back to tennis court very soon after the baby’s delivery in October.
