KARACHI: Disgraced Hollywood director Harvey Weinstein was slapped by a man at a resort in Scottsdale on Tuesday, according to a video obtained by US entertainment website TMZ.
He was at Elements restaurant at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort in Scottsdale when an unidentified man approached, began berating Weinstein before slapping him twice with the back of his hand, video shows.
Weinstein left for Scottsdale, a desert city in Arizona east of state capital Phoenix, after he was accused by numerous women of sexual assault in on-the-record stories published by the New York Times and the New Yorker in early October. However, he has denied all the claims.
The director is under investigation by the US and UK authorities. After the revelations, #MeToo campaign was launched globally to raise voice against sexual harassment and exposed predators from within.
