Ayyan Ali’s father grilled in money laundering case

RAWALPINDI: Investigators on Wednesday recorded statement of model and actress Ayyan Ali’s father in money laundering case.

Her father told a team of Rawalpindi Customs that he had not met his daughter for the last 10 years as she lived with her mother during that period of time.

RAWALPINDI: Investigators on Wednesday recorded statement of model and actress Ayyan Ali’s father in money laundering case.

Her father told a team of Rawalpindi Customs that he had not met his daughter for the last 10 years as she lived with her mother during that period of time.

Sources said that the Customs officials questioned the father of Ayyan Ali for two hours.

Customs authorities had caught Ayyan Ali attempting to smuggle $500,000 to UAE, at the Benazir International Airport.

On March 16, Special Customs Court dismissed Ayyan's bail plea, following which she was taken into custody and sent on a 14-day judicial remand.
