Fast & Furious 8 premieres in Karachi
KARACHI: The eight edition of Hollywood franchise --Fast and Furious -- was premiered at a local cinema of Karachi brimmed with Pakistani celebrities.
Directors, producers, renowned actors and models, all embellished the already pleasant night with their presence.
The event was organized by a PR agency. It had extended invitations out to various professionals from stars belonging to film and fashion industries, and journalists to owners of different brands.
Pakistani celebrities Wajahat Rauf, Maliha Rao, Tappu Javeri, Faik Khan, Asad ul haq, Danish Nawaz, Faisal Qureshi, Muneeza Ibrahim, Nadia Hussain were given red carpet welcome at the premiere of ‘'The Fate of the Furious'.
The much awaited Action Thriller, involving fastest, most expensive rides, highly acclaimed cast and what not, was enough to keep the invitees interested thus the appearances of esteemed guests and red carpet welcome proved to be a cherry on top indeed.
The movie concluded with the audience unable to help applauding at the top of their strength which was a proof they were content coming out here kicking other commitments to the curb.
Fast 8 follows the events of Furious 7 where Dom played by actor Vin Diesel and his wife Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) have gone on their honeymoon, and the rest of the crew have begun to settle down to a more normal life.
'The Fate of the Furious' comes without one of the film’s main stars Paul Walker who tragically died in November 2013 following a fatal car crash.
