The latest status update regarding Whatsapp has not gone down well with users, who took to Twitter to slam the feature, claiming it's a ripoff of Snapchat and Instagram.
When people woke up to the latest WhatsApp status update through which you can upload pictures and videos with captions that delete themselves after 24 hours, they were not happy. For one, it looked like a blatant copy of Snapchat and users were quick to note that. Many cited how the messaging app has family members on it which could hamper them from freely using the status update feature.
Others simply missed the old WhatsApp feature and wanted it back.
Will Mark Zuckerberg yield to the criticism or will users have to get used to the new WhatsApp feature?
