Afridi won't be considered for T20 squad against England
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board selection committee will announce the team for the Twenty-20 match against England after Pakistan play the third ODI. Former T20 captain Shahid Afridi will not make the team again.
According to details, minor changes would be made within the national team for the T20 match against England. Imad Butt has been selected in the squad, while former captain Shahid Afridi won’t be considered for the team. Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal are likely to be considered for the upcoming West Indies series.
Regarding Shahid Afridi, the selection committee stated that he wanted to make a comeback into the team but was not playing domestic matches. The committee stated that if the former T-20 captain was unfit, then he should inform the selection committee.
Pakistan will play their second One Day International match against England on Saturday at Lord's, after losing the first one at Southampton.
