Amanda Seyfried talks about the light of working with Meryl Streep as a co-star
Amanda Seyfried talks about working with Meryl Streep.
The actress, who starred with Streep in Mamma Mia 2008, says it is a delight to be with.
Discussing Streep, 77, Seyfried admitted at the Hamptons International Film Festival on Oct. 4: “She’s super chill and always honest in every performance. It’s just you could have a script written by the worst computer and she would make it make sense and feel authenti.”
“And so you can’t go wrong, unless you are intimidated — and then you can, you can totally just ruin the vibe.”
“But she was cool. She was so chill,” Seyfried said of Streep.
Speaking about the movie, Seyfried added: “They did also send me to Vegas and had me watch the show because I was in LA. So I, it really wasn’t that crazy, the hoops that I had to jump through. You know, right place, right time, right people.”
