Prince Harry’s ‘growing alliance’ with uncle puts Prince William in trouble
Prince William on ‘the edge’ after Diana memoir
Prince William's struggles put Princess Catherine in the spotlight.
According to Radar Online, the Prince of Wales is facing growing tensions after his uncle Earl Charles Spencer's damaging allegations about his father, King Charles and his behaviour after Diana’s death in memoir Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.
Another factor contributing to the tensions is William’s estranged brother Prince Harry’s increasing closeness to their uncle.
However, an insider told the outlet, "William is particularly troubled by what he perceives as a growing alliance between Harry and their uncle."
"William believes the relationship risks turning longstanding family disagreements into another public confrontation, particularly when the monarchy is already facing considerable scrutiny,” they added.
For those unaware, Princess Diana’s younger brother made a claim in his memoir that King Charles said "We'll forget her soon enough," just after the death of the beloved princess and seemed "giddily elated."
Now, a source claimed that "Spencer's memoir revisits the bitter disagreements surrounding Diana's funeral, including whether her sons should walk behind their mother's coffin, and Harry is said to have encouraged his uncle to write it. It is all pushing William to the edge."
Another source noted Princess Catherine’s efforts to help her husband manage the strain, claiming, "Catherine believes maintaining composure and concentrating on official responsibilities offers the best way forward.”
"She has encouraged William to explore relaxation techniques, including meditation, breathing exercises and yoga, to manage the strain," the source further claimed.
It is pertinent to mention here that the memoir Swan Song: Diana, My Sister was officially released in late September.
