Hayden Panettiere’s ex files for temporary guardianship of her estate

Hayden Panettiere's ex-fiance Wladimir Klitschko has requested the court to make him temporary guardian of their daughter Kaya’s estate.

The 11-year-old is the only heir of Hayden’s whole estate and Wladimir, being the father of Kaya, filed the petition in a Los Angeles court last week to name himself as the protector of his daughter’s inheritance.

In the court doc obtained by Page Six, the doting father noted Kaya “is entitled to the entirety” of the late Heroes star’s assets.

It is pertinent to mention that the father-daughter duo lives in Ukraine.

In the petition, Wladimir stated that it’s “urgent and essential” to appoint him as temporary guardian so he “may receive, manage and hold” Kaya’s assets.

In the filing, Wladimir also pointed at Hayden’s property that belonged to her estate was removed during the ongoing investigation of her death.

He also expressed his worry about not having any representative at the moment who will look after Hayden’s estate.

The docs further read, “Prior to her death, Hayden and [Klitschko] had hired a security service to protect Hayden’s Home and its contents, arising from a documented concern that an individual had gained unauthorized access to Hayden’s property.

“Locks to Hayden’s Home were changed by the security service following Hayden’s death, and storage units containing designer clothing and accessories worn to public appearances have been relocated as a precaution.”

He further shared his fear of Hayden’s belongings getting misplaced in the future, and noted that a personal representative needs to be appointed to protect her “home and contents.”

Wladimir also alleged that a non-family member has destroyed the late actress's emails and her belonging, like jewelry “have disappeared or remain unaccounted for.”

For those unversed, Hayden died at the age of 36 in Greenville, South Carolina, last month.

As the investigation regarding her cause of death is still ongoing, TMZ reported that she took a pill that was allegedly laced with fentanyl on the day she died.
